Why Catholic Bibles Are Bigger: The Untold Story of the Lost Books of the Protestant Bible Details
The ultimate issue that divides Catholics and Protestants is the Old Testament canon. Catholic and Orthodox Bibles include seven books that are omitted in most Protestant Bibles. How did we end up with two different Old Testament canons? Did the Catholic Church add these books to Scripture in reaction to Protestantism or did Protestants remove them because they contradicted uniquely Protestant beliefs. Why Catholic Bibles Are Bigger investigates this issue by presenting the history of the Deuterocanon and specifically the acts of the Council of Trent and the early Protestant Reformers. This is the original FIRST EDITION. There is going to be a new Revised Second Edition put out by Catholic Answers Press in mid-September. Therefore, this first edition will only be available for sale until the last week in August, 2017.
